President’s Welcome

Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association

H.F.A.A. · Athens, Greece · since 2001

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We welcome you to the website of the Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association (H.F.A.A.).

The Association was founded in 2001 to promote and encourage research in the fields of finance and accounting. Its development rests on two pillars: the creation and organisation of a network of scholars working in these fields, and the promotion and dissemination of scientific knowledge.

This website provides information on the Association’s history, operation, vision and perspectives. It also presents the annual conferences organised by the Association, as well as the conferences in which it participates, both in Greece and internationally. In addition, you will find information on the membership application process.

The Association seeks to advance the disciplines of finance and accounting through the interaction of academics and practitioners working in Greece and abroad.

With kind regards,

Christos I. Negakis
