Call for Papers – 5th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICAF 2014)

Πρόσκληση υποβολής εργασιών για το 5th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICAF 2014), που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 4 και 5 Σεπτεμβρίου 2014 στη Σύρο.

Το συνέδριο διοργανώνεται από το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Τμήματος Λογιστικής και Χρηματοοικονομικής του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας, υπό την αιγίδα του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας, με την ευκαιρία της συμπλήρωσης είκοσι ετών από την ίδρυση του Τμήματος. Γίνονται δεκτές θεωρητικές και εμπειρικές εργασίες από όλα τα πεδία της χρηματοοικονομικής και της λογιστικής, ενώ θα πραγματοποιηθεί και κοινή συνεδρία για μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές και υποψήφιους διδάκτορες. Επίσημη γλώσσα του συνεδρίου είναι η αγγλική.

Προθεσμίες:

• υποβολή περιλήψεων (έως 200 λέξεις) στη διεύθυνση [email protected]: έως τις 10 Μαρτίου 2014
• ενημέρωση για την αποδοχή: έως τις 14 Μαρτίου 2014
• υποβολή πλήρων εργασιών: έως τις 23 Μαΐου 2014

Οι εργασίες θα δημοσιευθούν στα πρακτικά του συνεδρίου. Επιλεγμένες εργασίες της κύριας συνεδρίας θα φιλοξενηθούν σε ειδικό τεύχος του Journal of Computational Optimization in Economics and Finance και επιλεγμένες εργασίες της συνεδρίας υποψήφιων διδακτόρων σε ειδικό τεύχος του Journal of Financial Decision Making. Επιπλέον, το Investment Research & Analysis Journal θα δημοσιεύσει τις τέσσερις καλύτερες εργασίες του συνεδρίου, δύο από κάθε συνεδρία.

Call for papers for the 5th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICAF 2014), to be held on the island of Syros on 4–5 September 2014.

The conference is organised by the Postgraduate Programme of the Department of Accounting and Finance, University of Macedonia, under the auspices of the University of Macedonia, to mark twenty years since the department was established. Theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of finance and accounting are welcome, and a joint session will give postgraduate students and PhD candidates the opportunity to present their work and receive feedback from faculty. The official language of the conference is English.

Deadlines:

• abstracts (up to 200 words) to [email protected]: 10 March 2014
• notification of acceptance: 14 March 2014
• full papers: 23 May 2014

Papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers from the main session will appear in a special issue of the Journal of Computational Optimization in Economics and Finance, and selected papers from the PhD session in a special issue of the Journal of Financial Decision Making. In addition, the Investment Research & Analysis Journal will publish the conference’s four best papers, two from each session.
