The 11th Annual Conference took place in Athens on 14–15 December 2012, organised by the School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University under the theme “Growth: A Way Out of the Crisis” and chaired by Avgoustinos Dimitras.
The first day (14 December, 15:00–20:00) was held at the Acropolis Museum, with talks by academics, market practitioners and public officials on growth, the labour market, energy and public debt.
The second day (15 December, 09:00–17:00), at the Titania Hotel, was devoted to research papers, selected through a review process modelled on international academic conferences.
