About
The 16th Annual Conference took place on 15–16 December 2017 at the Hilton Athens under the theme “Education, Shipping, Tourism: Pillars of Growth”. It was co-organised by the Postgraduate Programmes of the Department of Accounting and Finance, University of Macedonia, and the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
The Scientific Committee was chaired by Dimosthenis Hevas. Saturday’s academic programme included the panel “Improving Research in Accounting and Finance”, chaired by Sandra Cohen (Athens University of Economics and Business) with Anastasios Malliaris (Loyola University Chicago), Panayiotis Theodossiou (Cyprus University of Technology), Manthos Delis (University of Montpellier) and Dimitrios Gounopoulos (University of Bath).
