About
The 22nd Annual Conference took place on 15–16 December 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Athens (115 Syngrou Avenue), in hybrid format via Zoom and YouTube, organised by the Postgraduate Programmes of the Department of Accounting and Finance, University of Macedonia.
Opening remarks were given by Christos Staikouras, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, and by HFAA President Christos Negakis, followed by the panels “Decoding Financial Reality”, chaired by Dimitrios Kousenidis, and “Outlook of the Greek Financial Sector towards 2030”, chaired by Kyriaki Kosmidou.
The panel “Improving Research in Accounting and Finance” featured Thierry Foucault (HEC Paris) and Beatriz García Osma (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid; Editor-in-Chief, European Accounting Review).
