The 9th Annual Conference, the first to be hosted in Cyprus, took place in Limassol on 17–18 December 2010, organised by the Department of Commerce, Finance and Shipping of the Cyprus University of Technology; the Scientific Committee was chaired by Panayiotis Theodossiou.
The first day was held at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with two expert discussions: one on business prospects in Cyprus and the Russia–Cyprus agreement, the other on the banking sector in Cyprus and Greece, investment risks and the downgrade of Cyprus’s credit rating. The second day, at the Cyprus University of Technology, was devoted to academic presentations.
